Industry Practice Networks

Learn Locals are not-for-profit community organisations registered and funded by the Victorian Government to deliver pre-accredited, adult learning courses with a focus on foundation skills: Language, Literacy, Numeracy, Employability and Digital (LLNED) skills.

Learn Local Industry Practice Networks (IPNs), an initiative developed in 2023, contribute to the realisation of a goal of the Victorian Government’s Ministerial Statement on the future of Adult Community Education 2020-2025: to build industry partnering in pre-accredited training to meet workforce foundation skills needs and drive job opportunities for pre-accredited learners

Industry Practice Networks (IPNs) bring together Victorian Learn Local providers to collaborate on extending good practice in industry partnering, benefiting employers and learners. The networks include industry specialists from Learn Local providers who mentor staff from other Learn Local providers. They support those who want to work with local employers to create customised pre-accredited programs that address workforce skills gaps.
